2021 Michael Nguyen was nominated for the Tassilo Culture Prize of the Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ), a German national daily newspaper. It is published in Munich. SZ is the second largest daily newspaper in Germany (as of October 2020). Promoting the cultural sector in the Munich area and motivating creative artists (these are the goals of the Tassilo Culture Prize). The SZ Prize is named after the Bavarian Duke Tassilo.
