Gauting-based photographer Michael Nguyen shows photographs at the Culture Centre Bosco that depict roadside motifs in unexpected beauty.
The first photo at the top of the stairs at Bosco in Gauting looks like an illusion. There seem to be trees and a diving tower suspended at the top, but then the viewer recognises the reflection in the water of the large pool in the Gauting summer pool. Photographer Michael Nguyen deliberately chose this image from the ongoing series "By the roadside" / "Heimat Gauting: Am Straßenrand" as the prelude to his exhibition, because it is the only shot from Gauting. All the others show photos from Munich and cities in Bavaria, Austria and Italy that Nguyen roamed through during the long months of the pandemic.
