The Osterstraße multi-storey car park is located on Osterstraße in Hanover. The listed multi-storey car park was built in 1974 in the Brutalist style. It was built according to a design by architect Heinz Wilke in reinforced concrete skeleton construction.

The old building of the Museum August Kestner is enclosed by a glass and concrete façade from 1961. The original old museum building still exists today in a special form. Its partial destruction by bombing in the Second World War was countered by a remodeling between 1958 and 1961. Since then, a conversion and extension with a glass and concrete façade with around 5,000 windows has enclosed the remains of the building. This concrete cube is now a listed building. Today, with its design collection, it is one of the most important museums of applied art in Germany  The museum's namesake, August Kestner, lived and worked in Rome for 36 years as a Hanoverian envoy. There, as a private collector, he amassed a considerable number of Egyptian and Greco-Roman artifacts as well as other works of art. After his death, his nephew, Hermann Kestner, received the collection with the task of handing it over to his home town of Hanover and making it accessible to the public.

Residential building in Strojarska Business Center, a business and residential center in Zagreb, Croatia. The complex is called VMD-Areal, Zagreb, Croatia. The center consists of 6 buildings, two of which are residential. There are two skyscrapers, the main building, Building B, is the tallest residential building in Croatia with 25 floors and a height of 315 feet.

The Begegnungsstätte Mehr Mitte of the Volkssolidarität Berlin e.V. is showing a window exhibition curated by Dr. Phil. Lily Fürstenow, photographs from the photo series “By the Roadside” by Michael Nguyen from 14 November – 1 December 2023. The exhibition shows 30 photographs of facades taken in various German and other European cities. The curator Dr. Phil. Lily Fürstenow is committed to promoting artists with her online exhibition www.e-mergingartists.art  showing consequently international artists represented online in various exhibition contexts for example e-mergING artiSTS in the current exhibition cycle Art in Public Spaces.

Nguyen's facade photography is characterized by a unique blend of precision and artistry. His keen eye for detail allows him to capture the subtle nuances of architectural elements and play with light and shadow to create a visual symphony. Whether the play of sunlight on weathered bricks, elegant contemporary design, or the reflection of an urban landscape in a modern glass façade, Nguyen's photographs go beyond the surface and penetrate the soul of the structures he captures. His facade photography invites us on a visual journey through the layers of our built environment. His ability to elicit poetry from the ordinary and present the extraordinary in the mundane makes him a distinctive force in the field of architectural photography. Michael Nguyen's photographs are an inspiring testament to the profound beauty that lies within the structures that characterize our lives.

Curator Dr. Phil. Lily Fürstenow studied foreign languages at Tbilisi Ilia Uni and got her Ph.D. Degree at the Humboldt University Berlin in Cultural Studies. She has been awarded the DAAD Scholarship for her Ph.D. research, the Deutscher Künstlerbund Bundesprogramm Neustart Kultur Scholarship for the promotion of digital formats of contemporary art, and Sammlung Schirm Donation for the X-treme Women Art Prize Berlin 2022. She lives and works in Berlin and in Tbilisi.
